Micron To Roll Out India-Made Chips In 2025: Micron India MD| Semiconductor| Artificial Intelligence

While chips power almost every technology around us, their instrumental role became prominent with the entry of Micron into the Indian market. The company came under the spotlight in 2023 when the company decided to sign a deal to set up a semiconductor plant in India. Within three months, Micron broke ground in India in Sanand, Gujarat. The company already operates engineering and Research and Development centres in Hyderabad and Bangalore. It is expected to roll out the first set of India-assembled chips from Gujarat by 2025.
