Cleveland's WJW-TV Becomes WJKW-TV - April, 1977!
From April 22, 1977, here is something rare indeed: a TV station changing its call letters! They explain why during a news segment in this video. This is the 2nd time this station changed its call letters - the first time was in 1956, when they went from WXEL to WJW. And, they reverted BACK to WJW in September of 1985.
