Sternstunde Philosophie: Lacan verstehen
#jacqueslacan #philosophy #psychoanalysis Andreas Cremonini and Peter Widmer on the French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan, March 28, 2010. "Lacancan and Derridada"—almost a quarter of a century ago, the playful objection of Berlin professor Klaus Laermann to the difficult-to-understand French post-structuralists, who were "en vogue" at the time, became a catchphrase. The French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan (1901–1981), a contemporary of the Surrealists in his youth, is still considered a dark thinker, but also an indispensable theoretical heavyweight not only for psychoanalysis, but also for philosophy, literary studies, and film studies. What image of humanity and the subject emerges from Lacan's writings? What is actually meant by the famous "mirror stage"? What follows from the fact that the unconscious is structured like a language? And what does Lacan say about human desire and thus about love and sexuality? To clarify such questions, Michael Pfister invited the Basel philosopher Andreas Cremonini and the psychoanalyst Peter Widmer, president of the Zurich Lacan Seminar, to a discussion.
