We came to Svetlogorsk to photograph magnolias. Botanical tour of Svetlogorsk. Svetlogorsk, our main city, is a botanical garden. This is all the more surprising because for just over 100 years, Svetlogorsk-2 was simply a gigantic sand dune. May is magnolia bloom time in Svetlogorsk.
