Nie jest najlepszy, za to jest najtańszy - Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV (2021)

The new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV is a good car, but compared to today's competitors – like the new Tucson, C5 Aircross, or Qashqai – Mitsubishi's SUV is merely good. It's hard to find fault with that, though, since for 190,000 PLN you get the most specced Eclipse Cross PHEV, while the prices of competitors at this level are only just starting to accelerate. For example, the C5 Aircross PHEV doesn't offer 4x4 for a similar price, while the Mitsubishi does. The Hyundai Tucson? With similar equipment, it cost me 26,000 PLN more. It does have 265 hp, while the Eclipse only has 188 hp. The Grandland X PHEV is 37,000 PLN more expensive. The Peugeot 3008 PHEV is 48,000 PLN more. Although it must be admitted that the latter two have 300 hp each. As for the Eclipse Cross PHEV itself, it's a completely different car from the Eclipse Cross without the PHEV. First and foremost, it's much nicer. Secondly, it's 14 cm longer and more spacious. It's essentially a very spacious SUV, especially when it comes to the rear seats. What sets it apart from its competitors is the significantly sloping trunk lid. My German Shepherd isn't thrilled with the headroom in these cars. But that's the result of the coupe-style trend. The Mitsubishi PHEV is a classic. It's great, provided you have your own garage with a 230V outlet. Then it's economical, eco-friendly, super comfortable, and silent. If not, buying a PHEV hybrid will likely be one of the worst decisions you'll ever make. Unless you charge such hybrids every 24 hours, they can burn up to 12-13 liters of fuel in the city during winter. I've had the same experience with Volkswagens, Mercedes-Benzes, and Mitsubishis.
