Amtrak Dash 8's on the Borealis and Hiawatha
Amtrak Dash 8's on the Borealis and Hiawatha trains during the month of June. The introduction of the Borealis required Amtrak to add three train sets to the Chicago pool. This resulted in more opportunities for the Dash 8's to be used in service. Previously it was a rare occurrence to see a Dash 8 west of Milwaukee on CPKC's Watertown Sub. B32-8WHs Nos. 517, 518, and 519 are seen in this video.
