Bullara Station

We stayed a few days and experienced the famous burgers and some good live music. Bullara Station Stay is a captivating working cattle station nestled in Western Australia's Coral Coast, between Coral Bay (65 km south) and Exmouth (86 km north) along Burkett Road. Spanning vast outback landscapes just 281 km north of Carnarvon, it offers an authentic glimpse into Aussie ranch life while embracing eco-friendly tourism. Open seasonally from April 1 to October 31, it's the dream project of owners Tim and Edwina, blending rugged adventure with modern comforts. Guests can choose cosy cottages, safari huts, bell tents, the historic Shearer's Lodge, or spacious campsites for RVs and caravans. Dive into station activities like scenic hikes to Sunset Hill, birdwatching amid diverse flora and fauna, or stargazing around fire pits. Dining shines with farm-fresh meals at "The Table" in the woolshed, featuring low-mileage local produce, burger nights, and live music. Unique touches include "Lava Tree" outdoor showers and hammock lounging. Perfect for families, couples, or corporate retreats, Bullara reconnects visitors with nature's raw beauty, from Ningaloo Reef dips to outback sunsets—putting life in perspective.
