TRIP REPORT | Restrictions Destroyed My Trip! | A320 & CRJ1000 | Gran Canaria to Malaga

Iberia Trip Report flying from Gran Canaria to Malaga (via Madrid T4) onboard one Iberia Express Airbus A320 and an Air Nostrum CRJ1000, on a windy spring afternoon in all Spain. An interesting trip with Iberia: we booked the trip at the Iberia website, but we flew everything except Iberia itself: first flight from Gran Canaria to Madrid with Iberia Express and the second one from Madrid to Malaga with Air Nostrum (Iberia Regional). This flight was not planned until 3-4 hours before it happened. Initially, the plan was to fly to Amsterdam with EasyJet, but the travel restrictions imposed by The Netherlands government, from that exact morning, of a PCR even for transiting passengers forced me to change all my itinerary and avoid that country. Initially, I was flying Gran Canaria - Amsterdam - Malaga, both flights with EasyJet. In the end, I had to pay a ridiculous amount of money for this Iberia Group flight, which took more than 24 hours. This trip was recorded in February 2021, when all countries were changing the entry requirements every week. The flight from Gran Canaria to Madrid was very comfortable, with nice service and an extremely beautiful approach during the Sunset.
