Circus Knie has been one of Europe's oldest and leading circus companies for over 200 years. Every year, the circus tours Switzerland with artists, animals, and comedians, offering cross-generational entertainment. The circus is run by Géraldine Knie and her husband Maycol Errani, as well as Doris Knie, in the seventh generation. During the tour, the family-run business from Rapperswil employs around 200 people from 16 different nations. Circus Knie is a family business, run by the seventh and eighth generations.Every child in Switzerland knows Circus Knie, as it has been touring the country for over 100 years.
