Developing Finger Control | Snare Drum Technique
Developing Finger Control | Snare Drum Technique https://www.jonathancurtis.co.uk In this video, I continue the exploration of hand technique by looking at the use of the fingers, how they engage within each stroke, and how we can practise this. The fingers need to engage in a certain way with every stroke we play. In order to do this, we need to be familiar with how this works and what this feels like. With a few simple motion exercises and technical drills, we can start to learn what this engagement feels like, understand how it works within a larger context, and begin to apply it to all of our playing.
