If you are looking for premium motorized running boards for your truck, look no further than the Amp Power Steps. These power running boards deploy when you open any of the doors on your truck. They retract 2 seconds after you close the door. They come with a 5-year/60,000mile warranty. The install was not difficult at all, but it is very time consuming. The amp steps also come with LED lights that illuminate when you open the doors, but I decided that my automatic OPT7 Underglow lighting was plenty of light. The board is 6 inches wide which gives you a lot of room to step on. When installing these power running boards make sure you torque screws to the proper specs and don't over tighten. It was a little difficult to find a 1/4in torque that went down to 36in LBS. I finally came across a Pittsburgh torque wrench from Harbor Freight that did the job.
