Jackson Sparks' mother Sheri delivers heartbreaking testimony at Darrell Brooks' sentencing hearing

Jackson Sparks was one of six people killed by Darrell Brooks when he drove his red SUV through the Waukesha Christmas Parade in 2021. Brooks was found guilty in the deaths by a Waukesha County jury. On Nov. 15, 2022, almost a year after the attack, Sheri Sparks spoke before the court and in front of Brooks for the first time. She said her family is "forever changed, hurt, angry, traumatized and broken."
