He explained that the companies applied interest rates that doubled or tripled market values ​​to declare hidden profits, reduce local tax payments, and extract foreign currency from the country. The analyst assessed the impact of the Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI) as a mechanism that weakened state capacity by ceding fiscal sovereignty for a period of thirty years. He denounced the fact that the State relinquished the ability to apply export duties in response to international crude oil price increases and that it validated a system of equalizing domestic prices that harmed the population's finances. The specialist described the internal restructuring of YPF and criticized the logic of abandoning conventional areas to concentrate all activity on fracking.
