武漢夫妻用20種百年老木造房：中國人自己的味道 Wuhan Couple Build a House for Retirement with 20 Types of Old Wood

Zhu Junyi and Xiao Yi, a post-70s couple, have known each other for 21 years. After working in the downtown for years, they moved to an island in Wuhan in 2016 to live in the house they built for retirement. The construction took 5 years. The couple wanted to spend their retired life in a place full of "Chinese flavors". So they used over 20 types of wood to build a home based on their childhood memories. No paint was used at all.
