In this practical test, I'll show you what's included, the build quality, the setup via the Goalker app, the mapping, the mowing performance, the edge trimming, the battery life, the rain sensor, and, of course, the obstacle detection. What I found particularly exciting was how well the Goalker H1, as the first product from a new brand, would fare against established robotic lawnmowers like Worx, MOVA, Mammotion, and Lymow. In the test, it had to navigate overgrown grass, mow under trees, and recognize obstacles such as watering cans, rakes, sprinklers, scooters, and paving stones, as well as demonstrate its ability to perform well with edge trimming. The Goalker H1's obstacle detection positively surprised me during the test. The robotic lawnmower operates very carefully and intelligently, especially around typical garden obstacles. The build quality, the simple charging station, the real rain sensor, and the cutting height adjustment in 1 mm increments also make a good impression. Of course, there are also points of criticism: The Goalker app currently doesn't offer as many settings as I would like. I would particularly like more control over obstacle detection and edge trimming. Furthermore, the edge trimming in my garden wasn't always consistent, and the mowing progress was completely reset after rain was detected. Nevertheless, the Goalker H1 made a strong start in the test. If Goalker continues to improve the app and adds even more settings via an update, this robotic lawnmower without a boundary wire could become really interesting for many garden owners.
