WRECK FISHING - Exploring NEW Spots! - Inshore Fishing - Trinidad, Caribbean Last weekend, we decided to do some exploring and try out a new spot...well new for us! One of my subs, Adam, gave me the link for the boat man, so we took the trip out to the "Wreck" off San Do! It was a bit of a struggle for us being the first time, and I made the video to show that. We tried a lot of different lures and tactics. Eventually, we had some success using spoon lures. It was still a lot of fun. We ended up catching a couple macks (carite) and some jack crevalle (cavali). There were thousands of small fish around, but we didn't try to go after them. We were after some big ones! We did manage to hook two monsters which got away, but we suspect that they were Sting Rays! I am sure some micro fishing or banking will yield a lot of fish! One thing I must add is the boatman was very professional. We gave a time to come back for us, and he was back on the dot...11:00AM sharp! We will be going back soon...Maybe on the next occasion we might do some micro fishing if things are slow... Just to see what species we can catch there! Thanks for watching! Fish On!
