This week, LRBC Minister Ian Smith will help us explore “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living”, reflecting on Jesus’ words in 📖 Matthew 6:25–34. Worry can so easily shape our thoughts, steal our peace and leave us carrying burdens we were never meant to hold alone. Yet Jesus speaks with both honesty and hope — inviting us to lift our eyes, trust our Heavenly Father, and discover a different way of living. Through this powerful passage, we’ll explore what it means to seek first God’s Kingdom, live one day at a time, and find freedom from anxious striving. Jesus’ words remain deeply relevant today — offering peace, perspective and an invitation into a fuller life. Through sung worship, praise and prayer, we’ll respond together to Jesus’ teaching and continue discovering the life He calls us to live. At the centre of it all is Jesus — inviting each of us into deeper trust and showing us a way of living rooted in grace, hope and the confidence that God knows what we need.
