Riding Out Hurricane Ian | Cape Coral Florida

This was our experience during the eye of Hurricane Ian at the height of the flooding. The wind blew from about 11:30am to past midnight. The flooding occurred between 2:30 and 6:30 and did not completely subside for two days. We were incredibly lucky.  Not everyone was as lucky. Please pray for the families less fortunate. Our close neighbors had left so we knew we didn’t need to check on them. There were no reported injuries in our area.
