"Cauldron" for the Russian army in Crimea; Russians are massacred on the roads

Ukraine's goal is to cut off Russian southern logistics, as supplies to the Dnipro Group are routed through Russian-annexed Crimea. This was stated by Kirill Budanov, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. He also called on local residents to be understanding of the situation and noted: Crimea is Ukraine, it is a single entity, and no one will ever be able to sever this connection. Between July 1 and 8, Ukrainian forces attacked 50 power grids in Crimea and the southern part of the occupied territories. "A deep and total blackout is inevitable," Brovdi noted. He also wrote that during the night of July 8 alone, unmanned aerial vehicles struck 53 military targets in the enemy's operational depths in Crimea and the southern part of the occupied territories of Ukraine. In addition, over the course of several days, Ukrainian military forces attacked more than 30 Russian vessels in the Sea of Azov. Meanwhile, the Russian head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, reported that the fuel supply situation remains tense and will remain so "for some time." Regarding electricity supply, no precise schedule will be provided, as supply issues persist. He assures Crimean residents that the Russian-controlled authorities are allegedly making every effort to resolve the problems that have arisen. And, of course, he mentioned Russian President Vladimir Putin – he is informed of the existing difficulties on the annexed peninsula and "always provides support." Meanwhile, Volodymyr Saldo, the so-called "governor" of the occupied Kherson region controlled by Russia, assures that truck traffic along the Novorossiya highway is gradually stabilizing. He added that security measures have been strengthened along the route, with an increased number of mobile fire teams and air defense assets. If traffic stabilized, perhaps the fuel situation would improve, says Kherson Regional Council deputy Serhiy Khlan . He says there's no gasoline at gas stations, and it can only be purchased from resellers or Russian military personnel. "I'm receiving reports from the occupied territories, and particularly from Genichesk, that the price of fuel, 92-octane gasoline, is currently hovering between 200 and 250 rubles per liter. This isn't at gas stations, because the stations aren't operating. This trade is happening under the table. In the occupied territories, gasoline and diesel fuel are primarily sold by Russian military personnel themselves. They drain the fuel and resell it to civilians, who buy it at these prices," said Sergei Khlan. According to Khlan, the situation is complicated by regular power outages. Many residents use generators, but the deputy claims that the Russian military has imposed restrictions on their operation at night. He adds that the occupation authorities explain this by saying that the noise from the generators interferes with the sound of approaching Ukrainian drones. Russian military personnel are attempting to restore transport links disrupted by attacks on the bridges on the Chongar and Arabat Spit, says Sergei Khlan. "The Chongar Bridge is currently heavily guarded, and air defenses have been beefed up. And speaking of the bridges to the Arabat Spit, they're using construction debris from the sanatoriums they used as military bases, where our 'shahids' have been flying in with great accuracy lately and destroying it. They're now using this construction debris to fill in the channel between the Arabat Spit and Genichesk, where the bridges were hit by our unmanned aerial systems. They're creating a kind of embankment. On one side, they're filling it up and trying to fill it in, creating a causeway. On the other side, closer to the sea, they've installed a pontoon bridge covered with anti-drone netting," said Sergei Khlan. Despite these measures, Sergei Khlan believes that the Russian military's sense of security has significantly declined compared to previous years. "If previously they considered Genichesk, Novotroitskoye, and the Arabat Spit to be safe, today there is no safe place for them," he said. The "logistics lockdown" being implemented by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the occupied south is causing joy among those awaiting Ukraine's return and panic among collaborators, the deputy asserts.
