Cómo usar el acelerador del parapente
The main reason we accelerate is to improve efficiency in a transition. A transition is when we fly from one lift zone to another, for example from one mountain to another, or from one thermal to another. Along the way we will lose height and if we do it with a headwind we will go slower. Therefore, when we fly against the wind in a transition it is advisable to step on the accelerator. When we accelerate we go faster, we also lose height more quickly. However, against the wind it is preferable to do it, since otherwise we will reach our destination even lower.
