Apollo 12 - Splashdown (Full Mission - Day 10) November 24, 1969, 20:58:24 UTC The final day of the Apollo 12 mission - The crew wakeup is followed by photographs and a P23 update. Solar Eclipse phots are taken in what the crew called the most visually spectacular moment of the mission. A last correction burn is made as they approach the earth and Service Module separation occurs. Re-entry is followed by TV coverage of the splashdown. The crew are transferred to the USS Hornet and into the Mobile Quarantine Facility where President Nixon calls them. The second mission to the lunar surface is complete.
