Metal Shaping Tips and Tricks: Making a Paper Pattern
https://www.proshaper.com Our Amazon Storefront: https://www.amazon.com/shop/proshaper In this episode of Metal Shaping tips and tricks, Wray takes it back to the basics. If all we have is the wireform buck, how do we make a panel? Well Wray starts off with making a paper pattern for the rear section of the Porsche 550. Wray uses Tyvek to see what results he can get with that and how it may differ from the paper. Now With the paper pattern you can get the general area values needed to start shaping. Only after shaping the panel and fitting it to the wireform do we create a flexible shape pattern to duplicate it for the other side of the car.
