SPANISH LANGUAGE DAY: LEARNING AND APPRECIATING OUR LANGUAGE, FULL OF EXPRESSION AND CREATIVITY Every April 23rd, Spanish Language Day is recognized internationally. This date of profound importance invites us to reflect on the cultural, historical, and social significance of the Spanish language, where one of the fundamental figures of world literature is Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, whose masterpiece, Don Quixote de la Mancha, marked a turning point in world literature. Therefore, representatives from the fifth and sixth grades of primary education paid tribute to this important day, which is aimed at promoting the proper use and appreciation of our language. Likewise, our students, with great enthusiasm and dedication, demonstrated their communication skills through the recitation of a poem and a biography of one of the figures commemorated on this day. This activity was led by the teachers, who guided and motivated the students throughout this learning process. The students not only strengthened their oral expression but also deepened their appreciation of Spanish as a fundamental tool for learning, identity, and social interaction.
