Many people enjoy eating strawberries, but very few know the hard work farmers put into growing them. The farmers here wake up as early as 3:30 in the morning and walk several kilometers through the mountains to reach their farms. Strawberry farming in Mahabaleshwar is not easy. Farmers walk 2–4 km downhill and then climb back up the mountain while taking care of their crops.
