Can I Survive the World's Coldest Hotel?

spoiler alert! it was cold. This is NOT clickbait. I drove 8 hours into Quebec to stay overnight in a real Ice Hotel that gets rebuilt from scratch every winter. Ice walls. Ice beds. Ice bar. Ice chapel. Even drinks served in ice cups. And somehow I thought this was a good idea. As someone who absolutely HATES the cold (despite being Canadian), this trip was about conquering three fears: • The freezing cold • My social anxiety • And… French people Before checking into the $600 per night Ice Hotel, I forced myself to face childhood trauma on the ski slopes (no churros were harmed because they were CLOSED 😭). After nearly dying sledding, embarrassing myself in French, and eating authentic Quebec cuisine (including maple syrup pie that changed my life), it was finally time to see if I could survive the night. Inside the Ice Hotel: Rooms carved completely from snow and ice Sculptures and frozen architecture built by hand An ice bar with cocktails served in frozen glasses Outdoor hot tubs during a blizzard A sauna sprint in freezing temperatures Sleeping in extreme cold with only a thermal sleeping bag Did I survive? Was it worth $600? Would I ever do it again? Watch until the end to see if I actually made it through the night. If you enjoy extreme hotels, crazy travel challenges, and testing experiences most people would never try — subscribe. This year I’m proving I can handle anything. #IceHotel #ExtremeHotel #HotelReview
