In 1957, São Paulo began transforming the banks of the Tietê River into one of the busiest avenues in Brazil. In this documentary, we reconstruct the history of the Marginal Tietê, from the old floodplains, bridges, and industrial areas to its transformation into an axis of speed, traffic, pollution, floods, and urban expansion. A journey through the city that grew alongside the river, but gradually stopped seeing it as a living landscape.
