Join us on our inside tour & outside walk-around of ZK-SAE, a 1965 Armstrong Whitworth AW.660 Argosy last operated by Safe Air Cargo in New Zealand. This Argosy made its last flight on September 30th, 1990 from Wellington to Woodbourne and was destined for scrapping. A dedicated group of aviation enthusiasts bought the Argosy from Safe Air with the goal of preserving this bird for future generations. The Argosy was move to its present site in December 1999 and is now part of the The Runway Cafe near Blenheim in New Zealand. This Argosy is in a 'combi' configuration.
