BRIEF HISTORY: The Red Line (formally known as the Main Street Line) is one of the busiest rail line in the nation. This 7.5 miles (12 km) light rail line journey (traveling between NRG Stadium, Texas Medical Center, Midtown and Downtown) carries more people. In addition, it nearly carries more people than Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) rail network (largest light rail network in the nation) in Dallas Texas.
