We thought we would be back at our hotel shortly after lunch... We were wrong. After an unforgettable sunrise and hike in Alishan, we started our journey back through the mountains of Taiwan. What should have been a simple drive turned into another day full of surprises. From massive holiday traffic and parking chaos to unexpected viewpoints, the breathtaking Taiping Suspension Bridge, delicious local food, and heartwarming encounters with local people, this day became one of the most memorable parts of our Taiwan road trip.
