Modernized Montgomery Hydraulic Elevator at Sears in Southlake Mall in Hobart, IN

There's so many problems with this thing I don't even know where to begin. Oh I know, the cab just looks awful the wood on the walls and on the floor has a bunch of chipped pieces the wood is all dirty and it doesn't look too pleasing. Second, the railings on every corner of this elevator is bent. Third, the indicator doesn't work always a welcoming feature. Finally, this thing shakes so hard that I'm not even sure how it gives a jolt that bad. Literally in all my years of filming elevators I have never been on an elevator that jolted that bad. I'm not sure what kind this is it's either a Montgomery, or Westinghouse, but it's been modernized with Adams fixtures like most Sears elevators. I've seen videos of this elevator from a few years ago and this thing looked very nice and even had a red cover over the emergency phone. What happened in those years?
