Termination Process: C6A DataGate Jack, F/UTP Cable and 110 tool
This video shows the process for terminating F/UTP cable into a Molex PowerCat 6A DataGate Shielded Straight and Side Entry Jack, p/n KSJ-00096, using a 110 Punchdown tool. Cable can be terminated in 3 directions – straight, on left or right side of jack and complies with ISO/IEC 11801 and TIA Cat 6A channel and PL requirements. The Jack offers superior alien crosstalk suppression, excellent insertion loss, and provides enhanced electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection by utilizing robust die cast zinc alloy jack body housing. It features a unique spring-loaded shutter to protect from dust and contaminants and to eject improperly seated patch cords. It is also dual color coded to allow for 568A/B wiring and is backwards compatible with shielded Category 6 and 5e systems.
