Introduction to Legal Self Help
Most people involved in a legal dispute who do not have an attorney can handle all, or a portion of their case, with the assistance of a Self-Help Center. These centers are located in every county in California, are free and most are equipped with multilingual resources. The videos on the Judicial Council's California Courts YouTube channel will help you get started. If you have further needs, contact a Self-Help Center in your county. http://www.courts.ca.gov/selfhelp.htm
