Thelma Houston "Don't Leave Me This Way" (2023 Extended Revisit Mix) ***

Originally done by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes in 1975, and a classic in it's own right, it is Thelma Houston's 1977 version that became one of the iconic dance, disco, and pop songs of all time. This version reveals an electric guitar, many additional vocals from a second vocal take, plus the additional verses from the HM&TB version not used on Thelma's original LP, 45, or extended mixes.
