The Grand Opening Ceremony of Phoenix’s Valley Metro Rail South Central Extension! Central Avenue has been under construction for years in Phoenix’s South Mountain neighborhood, due to the construction of the new metro train rail extension connecting it to downtown Phoenix. The trains are finally running and the new rail extension is fully operational! I attended the opening ceremony and shared my first trip to downtown Phoenix on the South Central Rail!
