Way of the Wyrd (Loughborough) 15th anniversary Day of Dance 2026

Way of the Wyrd Border Morris celebrated their 15th anniversary with a day of dance in the centre of Loughborough. Local sides Bare Bones and Anstey Royale Chalfont also took part. Bare Bones' long-established musician John plays the Leicester Small Pipes, and these days is often joined by a trombone and banjo - a pretty unique sound combination! The video shows short clips from a number of the dances, as well as the archive photo display on show at John Storer House. Both Way of the Wyrd and Bare Bones perform many dances that are unique to each side, composed by members of the side. Way of the Wyrd practices on Sunday evenings during the winter and is always happy to welcome new members.
