Full Journey on Bus Route 335 (HV147 | LT63 UJH)

So I've filmed this 335 video over 2 months ago now. New Year has come and I haven't quite lived up to the typical "video will be uploaded soon" claim. Anyway, I have finally gotten 'round to editing it, and now it's here! So, this is my first time taking the 335. I always see it when I'm at North Greenwich, Bus Station, usually fairly used, but in my working, it was quite empty (unsurprisingly since it was off-peak). The 335 runs up and down between Kidbrooke Village and North Greenwich, Bus Station, allocated HVs (the Gemini 2 kind) operated out of Arriva's Dartford (DT) bus garage. The route has a PVR of 7 buses spanning its 5 miles, and a full journey took me just under 40 minutes to do. The Kidbrooke area is quite nice, with the new flats there and all. I also like how residents have a train station right there, which will come in handy for public transport commuters. It also has some nice green, open spaces. However, apart from that little area at the beginning of the route, it is quite dull. It doesn't have a solo section, but I don't see this route getting discontinued as its still quite useful, and will promote the growth of the Kidbrooke community. It also provides a direct link to North Greenwich, though other buses like the 132 aren't too far away, and there's always the 178 to connect you to it if the walk is too far to the nearest stop. As for the allocation, I like these HVs. They look quite nice internally, and sound very nice. They are known for their intense revvs at speed, and they do quite a good job at that, though they are getting up there in age. This route is probably the worst route at DT for speed though on these buses, as you're not going to go blazing down a neighbourhood, and the rest of the route offers minimal speeding potential with the narrowish roads leading down to Westcombe Park Station and the Greenwich Tunnel. I would say the (soon to be operated under Arriva) 96, 428 and 492 are all better alternatives which sees these vehicles frequently. More recently, we have seen buses such as HV61 make its way to the garage, and even more recent than that, ex-TC operated HVs from the 466 are now here for the 96's contract temporarily whilst it awaits its BD11s. These include HV49 through to HV55. As for this route, I think its been retained by Arriva with these vehicles, but don't quote me on that. Be sure to check your sources. Other routes from the garage will all either be receiving brand new BD11s or switching operators, like in the case of the 301 (that will be going to Stagecoach, presumably out of their Plumstead Garage, given that there will be room there due to the 96 going Arriva)..
