Kaklık Mağarası, Hierapolis Antik Kenti ve Pamukkale

Denizli is a beautiful province with both historical and natural beauties. If you ever find yourself in that area, I'm sure you'll be pleased. Kaklık Cave: Located in the Honaz district of Denizli, 30 km from the city center, the cave contains a thermal water source. Because the cave receives direct sunlight, it is home to moss and various types of vines. There are swallows' nests at the cave entrance. The lake at the entrance, due to the cave's rock formations and plant diversity, offers beautiful views at different times of the day depending on the sunlight. The cave is approximately 465 meters long, including tunnels. Inside, there are travertine formations similar to those in Pamukkale. The Kokarhamam Spring, located near the cave, flows into Kaklık Cave in the form of waterfalls, creating these travertine formations. There is also a stream with a high sulfur content inside the cave. Hierapolis Ancient City: Located in the Pamukkale district of Denizli. It means "Sacred City" in Greek. It is located at the summit of the Pamukkale Travertines. It was considered one of the centers of the Cybele cult during the Phrygian period. The Greeks, who came after the Phrygians, named it Hierapolis and adapted its ancient myth to their own. Hades and Persephone replaced Cybele.
