The brand new elevated Mordialloc station on the Frankston line walkthrough/tour of the new station

In today's we on a walkthrough guided video of the brand new elevated Mordialloc station which is situated on the Frankston line in Melbourne's South-eastern suburbs of Victoria today Monday 8th of June 2026 which opened on Thursday 21st of May 2026 11 days ago. The brand new elevated Mordialloc station includes 2 entrances on each side of the station the main station entrance is on Albert Street and the second station entrance on McDonald's Street with another entrance adjacent to Albert Street opening in the next few months will the Mordialloc/Neapan highway entrance. On the Albert Street entrance to the the station has a customer service office and a weather controlled waiting room and toilets for people to use. There is stairs and lift access from ground level to the elevated platforms on both entrances to the station. The Mordialloc elevated station is a Island platform with seating and shelters areas and bins as well as Passenger Information displays on either end of the platforms including in the middle of the station platforms. We can seethe original heritage listed Mordialloc station building which will be the Protective Service officers building. The brand new elevated Mordialloc station also includes a commuter car parking and a bus interchange where multiple suburban bus routes use including rail replacement buses at Bear Street will be Mordialloc station precinct new open spaces which includes Mordialloc station heritage listed water tower a walking and cycling path will be built as well The Frankston line is operated by Metro Trains Melbourne and is operated by the X'trapolis and Siemens and comengs and soon to be X'trapolis 2.0 as well sometime in the near future.
