Demolizione ex Necchi: ”Se ne va un pezzo di storia di Pavia”
For many, the demolition of the Lingottino factory is the first step in the rebirth of the former Necchi area. After its post-World War II heyday, the factory founded by Vittorio Necchi went into crisis in the 1980s and 1990s, eventually shutting down production entirely. The factories and buildings that housed the administrative offices will now be demolished to make way for the new Supernova neighborhood. Among those who witnessed the initial demolition work was Piero Gilardini, a former Necchi employee who worked at the factory for over 30 years.
