Misi-Style Sobao Bread SPANISH 🇵🇷 Today I'm sharing my homemade version of Misi-style sobao bread! A soft crumb, with that classic flavor we love, and perfect for toasting, making sandwiches, or simply enjoying with butter. Here are the ingredients and some important details so you can also make it at home: 🥖 Ingredients – Sobao Bread 4 cups bread flour ½ cup sugar 2 tsp salt 1 tbsp instant yeast 1 tbsp sugar (to activate the yeast) ¾ cup warm water (100–110°F / 37–43°C) ¾ cup whole milk ⅓ cup lard (Optional) 1 tbsp unsalted butter ENGLISH 🇺🇸 Today I’m sharing my homemade version of sobao bread, a soft and slightly sweet Puerto Rican bread. Perfect for toast, sandwiches, or enjoying warm with butter! Here are the ingredients so you can make it at home too: 🥖 Ingredients – Sobao Bread 4 cups bread flour ½ cup sugar 2 tsp salt 1 tbsp instant yeast 1 tbsp sugar (to activate the yeast) ¾ cup warm water (100–110°F / 37–43°C) ¾ cup whole milk ⅓ cup lard (Optional) 1 tbsp unsalted butter 🔸 Note: I used a small oven (top oven on a double stovetop), so I baked at 325°F for 25 minutes. If you're using a conventional oven, you can bake at 350°F for 18–22 minutes, or until the bread reaches an internal temperature of 180°F. 📌 Follow me for more recipes: 💬 Let me know in the comments if you make it. 🔔 Subscribe and tap the bell so you don't miss out on new items. 📸 Also find me on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok 🔖 Suggested hashtags: #PanSobao #PanSobaoCasero #PuertoRicanBread #BoricuaRecipes #PuertoRicanBread #HomemadeBread #Homemade #RecetasDeLaMisi #BreadRecipe #PuertoRicanRecipes #BoricuaComida #PuertoRicoFood
