Authentic education | Alyssa Curry | TEDxLakeTravisHigh
Alyssa Curry suggests that we should consider the importance of and work toward integrating creativity into formal education with greater intention, thus giving children the benefit of opening innovative learning pathways while lessening workloads and stress. While Alyssa enjoys activities such as basketball and lacrosse, playing the cello is her passion. Playing the cello has allowed her to realize that education should be a more creative and authentic process. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
