Following the success of Friendship is Magic, the fourth generation of My Little Pony, generation 5 had big shoes to fill. While the 5th gen was never able to get out of the shadow of it's predecessor it failed on a scale that it probably shouldn't have. In this video I give my thoughts on why and how A New Generation, Make Your Mark, and Tell your Tale all fumbled the ball. Also, Netflix blows.
