This video shows defeating the boss of Chapter 7, "Golden Knight Loki," on the highest difficulty setting, "No Future," in the Switch version of "Seiken Densetsu 3 Trials of." Duran is level 82 and class 3, "Sword Master." The ability configuration is as follows: "Judge": Increases damage dealt to bosses by 20% "Offensive Form": Increases attack power by 40% and defense power by 40% during battle "Attack Saber": Increases MP cost of Saber spells by 4 and damage dealt by 15% while the spell is active "Attack Saber II": Increases MP cost of Saber spells by 8 and damage dealt by 25% while the spell is active "Concentration": Increases critical hit chance by 25% "Protect Break II": Has a 60% chance of reducing defense when a critical hit occurs Spell/Items Used: "Ice Saber+": Grants water elemental power to weapons "Drake Scale": Increases attack power "Wolf Devil Oil": Increases critical hit rate "Driad Statue": Nullifies damage once. Basic Fighting Strategy: Use target lock (press the right stick) to keep Loki in your line of sight at all times. Use spells and items when Loki makes an attack. ・Continuous thrusts → Watch Loki's stance carefully and avoid with all your might. ・Triple slash → Attack when he's paralyzed immediately afterwards. ・Zigzag warp → Attack when he's paralyzed immediately afterwards. ・Whirlwind sword → Continue attacking from behind while he's using a special move. ・Earth erupting sword → Intercept with the Class 1 special move, Cross slash. ・Flash sword → Evade and use magic or items while using the special move. ・Counter → If you attack while he's glowing red, he'll counterattack, so do nothing. Loki doesn't have an elemental weakness, but since he's equipped with Attack Saber I and II, you can cast saber magic to increase damage. Also, since you're fighting on Undine Day, you've used Ice Saber+. Loki's most fearsome attacks are the continuous thrusts he unleashes after closing the distance in one go. There's no warning, so keep an eye on Loki and take evasive action when he crouches and readies his sword. I'm using the Dryad Statue just in case, but it's only a temporary solution, as a direct hit from this multi-hit attack would be fatal. It's useful if you barely manage to dodge and miss one attack. As his HP decreases, the triple slash and continuous thrust patterns change, so be careful.
