The third-generation CX-5 has finally arrived! This time, we're taking it for a test drive on public roads! The third generation has been a hot topic among fans because the popular diesel engine from the first and second generations has been discontinued, replaced by two power units: a mild hybrid and a full hybrid. The full hybrid is scheduled for release in 2027, so we test drove the mild hybrid! Our test driver is Akihiko Nakatani, who owned and drove both the first and second generations of the CX-5.
