PAW Patrol pups sing No se Habla de Bruno/We Don't Talk About Bruno (Spanish Version)|Fan Animation

The PAW Patrol's Amateur Dramatics society are putting on a spectacular performance! They're singing "We Don't Talk About Bruno," but to help with their studies and to give Tracker a chance to shine, they're singing the Spanish version~ This one's quite a big one. The reason I decided one day to learn Blender and start animating is because I randomly heard this track on a plane as part of their entertainment system's music and just really wanted to see the pups singing it. Especially Zuma! So I learned to animate, pretty much specifically for this! Almost every shot was a chance to learn something new - parenting, lights, cloth sims, particle emission - and gradually I added more and more pups, and where they weren't available, I learned some very basic modeling so I could put them in! Still my defining moment as an animator, though I've definitely gotten a lot better since this. Still by a pretty large margin my longest work, too. Got some decent views, though never as many as I wanted. Not for the money - it was never monetized - but because I wanted it seen by as many people as possible! Originally uploaded 22 Jan 2025 Original description: This fan animation is a parody that sees the pups animated to the Kidz Bop version of No Se Habla de Bruno, the Spanish version of We Don't Talk About Bruno from Encanto. A PAW Patrol song I'd love to see! This fan animation was my way of cutting my teeth, learning Blender. The idea of learning to animate came to me when I randomly heard this particular recording on a plane and thought the voices would match the PAW Patrol pups in a very charming way. So I decided to learn to animate by making it a reality. Doing the whole song may have been a bit overly ambitious! Animating in my free time and getting sidetracked here and there, this animation now has shots in it I put together after learning Blender for just 4 days, and shots that were done after learning for almost six months. I learned to puppet rigs, then to use shape keys, then cloth sims, then making my own models and so many more things. Of course, I could improve many of the shots knowing what I do now, but I like the video being a kind of (non-linear) time capsule of my learning progress. Enjoy!
