Futurists don’t predict the future: we intentionally build the capacity and see and understand the implications and meaning of change. In a world that is changing as much as ours is at the moment, we need as many people as possible in our organisations and communities to have the skills to be able to anticipate change and prepare for it in their lives today. I’ll share some of the tools and skills futurists use and show how everyone can apply these. I want to motivate people to be more alert to change in the world, and more excited about creating the future as we live an era of re-engineering humanity.
