In this video, I'll show you how to install and program the Johnson Controls/Penn A421 electronic temperature controller. This controller, in its A421ABD and A421AED models, not only controls the temperature but also has the advantage of being usable as a defrost timer in refrigerators and medium-temperature cold storage rooms where defrosting is achieved through a power-off cycle.
