Making Ends Meet - an update on piling work at the Kingston Ferry Dock 4K

Kingston, Ontario - May 9th, 2026 It's been a good week for progress in driving home the sheet pile that will enclose a new, extended pier to accommodate the Wolfe Islander IV. Soletanche Bachy Canada and Green Infrastructure Partners have been busy. Besides the piling work preparation of the area beside Ontario St that will host MTO vehicles and more has begun. Chapter Markers: 00:00 - Monday - Piling is going well at the far end and a second platform is in build 03:57 - Tuesday - a little damp to begin with - but no slackening of pace 06:07 - Wednesday - a damp start is no deterrent, first shore end pile installed 08:20 - Thursday - piling whilst the sun shines 11:04 - Friday - fine weather and more piles 14:00 - Saturday - a working weekend (again) and further progress All music is from Epidemic Sound
