In interviews and on unique footage from family and friends' archives, he reveals a vibrant, active, inspired, and fully realized hero. The film is a portrait of a man whose passing left a powerful mark of gratitude, inspiration, and creative energy on the world. The film's musical dramaturgy is an ongoing dialogue between composer Khalilov and the audience—18 of his works form a vibrant canvas for the episodes. The combination of various video formats and retrospectives from different years creates the effect of the viewer's presence in the life of the film's protagonist. In a life filled with creative exploration and immense work. The memoirs of contemporaries—outstanding figures in Russian culture, officers in the Russian army, and prominent church leaders—reveal the unique character of a man and professional who can be called a "Conductor of the Spirit." The film was commissioned by the Moscow Regional Orthodox Parish of the Epiphany Cathedral and produced by the Sretenie Cultural Initiatives Center, LLC, in collaboration with the Madrigal Creative Center. The film was produced with the support of the Rostec State Corporation. The film was created using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society, provided by the Presidential Grants Fund as part of the "Project to Perpetuate the Memory of Lieutenant General V.M. Khalilov."
