The Swan & Dolphin Resorts might be hiding some of the best restaurants on Walt Disney World property. Located in the Epcot Resorts area, these are some of the few hotels that aren't operated by the Walt Disney Company. Instead, these resorts are run by the same group that operates Marriott Hotels. In an attempt to attract tourists vacationing in the area, Marriott invests a lot into providing high end cuisine at its properties. This leads to these hotels housing some high end table service restaurants that can often fly under the radar to those visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth. Bourbon Steak Orlando | A Michael Mina Restaurant, took over a section of the Dolphin Resort that used to be home to Shula's Steakhouse. This is the 6th Bourbon Steak location and Michael Mina's 45th restaurant. The menu focuses on elevating classic steakhouse dishes through sourcing high end ingredients, tedious preparation, and adding a unique twist to each course. Michael Mina has earned multiple Michelin Stars and numerous accolades throughout his career. We were big fans of Shula's. When we heard this restaurant soft opened we knew we had to check it out. Safe to say, we were highly impressed. Not only is Bourbon Steak better than Shula's, this might be the best restaurant on property now.
